The Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Club (NFSC), Thursday launched “operation tame Indomitable Lions of Cameroon programme ahead of the FIFA 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the African champions come September 1 and 4, 2017.
President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo alongside National Chairman, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, several officials and other members launched operation tame Cameroon at the International Secretariat, Ayinde Giwa, Lagos, in apparent bid to drum support for the Gernet Rohr-handled Super Eagles squad.
“Operations tame Indomitable Lions is a special support code to us towards galvanising our dear Super Eagles to outclass Cameroon. We are using this to remind Nigerians to fully support the Eagles morally in both Uyo and Yaoundé, Cameroon. We have to pray, fast and fully support our players and coaches so that Nigeria can qualify for the World Cup,” said Ladipo, who disclosed that all state chapters of the Supporters Club will actively mobilize Nigerians ahead of both games at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo (September 1), and Stade Omni Sport du Yaounde (September 4).
